I've completed my first novel translation~! Makai Senki Disgaea: Revelations is available in English for your reading pleasure. I can't guarantee 100% accuracy since I am still studying, but I'm confident in the overall story. Maybe 95% accurate?
I'll be getting back to the comic shortly.

Sorry for the lack of pages lately! I finally did that omake I mentioned yesterday and figured I would post to show I'm still alive. I meant to do it much sooner, but I got a little sidetracked. If you're a Disgaea fan, maybe you won't be too upset, since a good chunk of my time went to finishing a rough translation of the Disgaea Revelations novel (where Yasurl shows up). I want to take another month or so to work out the kinks, but once I'm satisfied with it I'll post it here. Hopefully that's something to look forward to.

The last page of Chapter 1 of my Disgaea comic. I mean to do a one-page omake before moving on to Chapter 2. I guess that was four months for one chapter... I may experiment a bit with the style in the next chapter, so I don't know if I'll be able to pick up the pace or not. I guess we'll see!

Lastly (and I almost forgot!), I got a little help and the FF7 Script for the first trip to Northern Crater is that much more complete. Cid and Cait Sith are in there, too, now. Thanks again!

Just one more page and a couple quick pictures. Work's been a little stressful and I haven't been in much of an art mood the past week or so. On the up side, I'm almost finished with the first chapter! I think it will probably be shorter than the later ones, but still, that's an accomplishment, right?

For the better part of the month I've been working on a Disgaea fan comic based on Beauty and the Beast. I didn't want to post anything here until I had some sort of cover page done, which is why I didn't update earlier in the month. I want to do a Chapter 1 cover page, and then I should have a few more pages to post. My track record for doing comics of any sort is not so great as any long-time followers of the site or friends of mine will know. But I'm trying to keep things simple, so I'm optimistic about this one. If I can get through Chapter 1, I think I've got a good shot of actually finishing it -- it's only meant to be about 4 or 5 chapters total. Fingers crossed, guys.

Thanks to ~roxzci on deviantArt, who commissioned it, there is now an Epilogue to Break Me. This is how I see it continuing beyond the Afterwards, but you're welcome to read it, disregard it, and make up your own ending. I did initially write Break Me to be open-ended, after all. But, in spite of that, I am rather pleased with how the Epilogue turned out.
Additionally, the usual art dump. One of these has to do with the Epilogue, but if you've read the rest of Break Me there's nothing remotely spoiler-y about it. If you've got no interest in Break Me, it's pretty at least.

Little bit of artwork as usual. And I've been working on the script some, filling in a few holes and finally running a spellcheck to catch a few errors that are mine instead of the rushed translation. The main addition is the date with Barret! I could never manage to get it before and half-believed it was one of those rumors like all the ways people say you can bring Aeris back to life. I also picked up some interesting Barret dialogue from Mideel... I don't think I ever played that part with him before.

I swear I'm most productive in the middle of winter. That seems sort of backwards. Anyway, artwork update. The third one has nudity if anyone needs a warning for that. Someday I'll also remember to bring my sketchbook home from work and scan a few things.

Happy New Year! I think I'm going to need a while to get used to typing 2011...
Anyway, as promised--well, a little later than promised--the big update! For the past... uh, while, I've been working on and off on putting together a sort of online scrapbook thing of my semester in Japan a couple years ago. Complete with stories of things I may or may not be remembering correctly at this point and photos and scans to go with. That can all be found here in the Writing section. Hope you all enjoy!
