December 5, 2010I'm working on kind of a big update to be finished hopefully later this month, but in the meantime I figured I'd post some artwork. I actually went on a quick portrait-drawing spree for my orignal characters, no fan art for once!

November 7, 2010I meant to post something a little sooner, but work's been killing me the past couple weeks. I did suddenly get in the mood to draw towards the end of October, so at least I've got the result of that I can post. Even if most of it's from a serious Disgaea kick.

October 13, 2010The final chapter of Break Me is up. I swear I'll have other updates soon.
October 6, 2010Chapter 27 of Break Me is up. One more to go.
September 29, 2010Chapter 26 of Break Me is up.
September 22, 2010Chapter 25 of Break Me is up.
September 16, 2010Chapter 24 of Break Me is up. Watch me forget what day it is.
September 8, 2010Chapter 23 of Break Me is up.
September 3, 2010Chapter 22 of Break Me is up. Okay, late update again, but this time I got the art up! Here's hoping the next time I get a commission it doesn't involve Sephiroth and his dire need for a haircut.

August 26, 2010Chapter 21 of Break Me is up. Sorry for the delay! I also have some artwork I keep meaning to put up, but apparently I'm really lazy lately. I'm working on another commission, too, so I'll try to finish that up and have everything for next week.
August 18, 2010Chapter 20 of Break Me is up.
August 11, 2010Chapter 19 of Break Me is up.
August 4, 2010Chapter 18 of Break Me is up.
July 28, 2010Chapter 17 of Break Me is up.
July 21, 2010Chapter 16 of Break Me is up. Additionally, a little art dump. I must say this each year at some point, but I think I'm getting better at this digital stuff.

July 14, 2010Chapter 15 of Break Me is up.

Dear ______,
We are pleased to welcome you on a treasure excursion at the House on the Hill. $50,000, to our knowledge, was buried at the site by the original owner of the house. All you need to do is come and explore, and the treasure is yours to find.
There are plenty of accommodations for you to use, if you so need to. Of course, a treasure hunter like yourself should not need any longer than a day, correct?
Happy Hunting,
BM
A madman, a dog, and a lost little girl left alone (?) in a house full of treasure. What do they have in common? The question is threaded amongst the long lost home of BM, sender of countless letters. Some ask for you as an explorer, some give you the extension of an invitation to stay at the home, or to find a lost relative. It doesn't really matter, the out come is the same. The letters are lies; and now you can't leave.
Welcome to House on the Hill. You hear the house lock itself behind you with a click, and you must have realized by now the only way out is by looking around. You're beginning to feel as if you are not alone and those of you with a keener sense may notice that, indeed, the house appears to be inhabited, but moreover, the house seems to be alive. The house is enormous, fueled by an old magic deep within the roots of the house and the hill. You all have your reasons for coming: the shelter from the dense forest, the letters, or a strange calling the house seems to give. Those of your fortunate to have your own form of magic, the house feeds on it, and you start to feel different – weaker.
So will you chose you delve into the mysteries of the House? Or will you sit and wait for others to find it first?
Happy hunting, all, for the way out.

I actually meant to put this ad up earlier. The game opened on July 1st... but by now there are plenty of posts to give you a feel for it. We have a huge Hetalia cast for those who are either into that or would like to help balance it out. I've picked up Toph from Avatar (not the one with the blue fuzzy people), and Tifa because I apparently couldn't help myself. New players are always welcome.
July 7, 2010Chapter 14 of Break Me is up.
June 30, 2010Chapter 13 of Break Me is up. Also, a quick sketch dump to accompany your regularly scheduled update.

June 23, 2010Chapter 12 of Break Me is up.
June 16, 2010Chapter 11 of Break Me is up.
June 9, 2010Chapter 10 of Break Me is up.
June 2, 2010Chapter 9 of Break Me is up. I also finally finished that commission, and ended up doing a couple simpler things to wind down, so it makes for a pretty decent artwork update.

May 26, 2010Chapter 8 of Break Me is up.
May 19, 2010Chapter 7 of Break Me is up.
May 12, 2010Chapter 6 of Break Me is up. Additionally, have a sketch dump.

May 5, 2010Chapter 5 of Break Me is up.
April 28, 2010Chapter 4 of Break Me is up.
April 21, 2010Chapter 3 of Break Me is up.
April 14, 2010Chapter 2 of Break Me is up.
April 11, 2010I've finally finished editing Break Me, so without further ado, you can find the first chapter here, in the Writing section. Starting Wednesday, I'll be posting a new one each week until I run through all 28.
Also, bit of a sketch dump as usual. You can probably tell what I've been into lately.

Paranoia, government conspiracy, zombies, and WWII's biggest coverup. Are you smart enough to crack the mystery around the Gate? You'll have to survive within the walls of Veles first! Located in war torn Minsk, Russia, the last remnants of human civilization tries to flourish in a land infested with zombies and covered in ruins. They struggle to adapt to the sudden influx of strange people that are deposited by the FLUX GATE. What is the Gate? Is it a vortex? Is it sentient? No one knows, really, and no one has yet to get past the priests that protect this icon of mystery.
The year is nearly 1953, and many changes are happening. The controlling forces keeping Veles from being a vibrant city is loosing their vise like grip on the community. How much longer can the Six keep their tenuous hold on the city people and Gate Walkers before they finally break away?
While the zombies are still trying to break through the city walls, stray radio signals from a place called Al-Jannah are being caught by a Gate Walker's contraband. Where is this place? The people say that they're zombie free and that there are living trees and green fields and animals that hold no diseases. Is this a place where the Gate Walkers can find salvage, or is it truly a paradise that is still out of reach? |
No updates today, just advertising for the game I'm in. Give it a look if you enjoy roleplaying, or are just curious about it. Everyone's very friendly, and we've been working hard lately to revamp the game. Feel free to IM me if you have any questions.
March 7, 2010Big update time! You see the little 日本語 link up top now? Clicking that will now take you to a Japanese version of this site. This is a project I've wanted to do since high school, but somehow I never had the motivation to finish a French version--but now I've managed everything in Japanese. It's far from perfect, and I'm sure this site has only a handful of visitors who even speak Japanese, but it makes me happy. From now on the Japanese site will continue to update in tandem with the English version.
I also did a bit of spring cleaning and weeded out some artwork I didn't like. It's not precisely spring yet, but all our snow is finally melting so it feels like it. And now you have your usual sketch dump. I'm working on a commission right now but I don't want to rush it. I'll probably update again when I get it done.

February 15, 2010Just a quick update since I did a pseudo-Valentine's Day painting... Bigger update planned for March, though it's more of a personal project, I'm not sure how many people will actually appreciate it.

January 18, 2010Two updates in a month, how about that? In addition to the usual sketch dump, I finally got the Characters section back up. So now if you feel like looking up who the hell Mukki or Holzoff are, you can do that. It also ties in with the script, though naturally I didn't link every single scene for the main characters (since, y'know, Cloud shows up pretty much everywhere). Hopefully it's somewhat helpful.

January 1, 2010Happy New Year! I guess it can be a new year's resolution to update at least once a month. I've been doing better lately but not quite there yet.
Anyhow, the usual art dump. I'm trying to work through some of the stuff that's been stagnating in my unfinished folder. You know, to make room for all the stuff I'm not going to finish this year. Got two out of there anyhow, and progress on a third. Also making good progress with Break Me this past month. I think it's because I'm finding more parts I want to cut out entirely. Man, I love deleting things.
