She forcd herself into the group just to get a 'certain something.' She's sneaky, arrogant, and "way" selfish. But with her super shuriken and her special skills, there isn't anyone else you'd rather have on your side in a fight. Extended Bio: Yuffie grew up during the Wutain War with Shinra, which is probably when she lost her mother. Her father Godo is Lord of Wutai, but after he lost the war, he lost any will to lead his country. Yuffie hates him for letting Wutai become little more than a resort town, and she doesn't keep those opinions to herself. Finding no support with her father, Yuffie left home in search of a way to defy Shinra and help Wutai. She joins Cloud's party with her eye on their materia, thinking that having a lot of materia will help her stand up to the Shinra. Eventually she begins to realize that she can do more good for Wutai by fighting alongside Cloud. Nevertheless, she keeps up her self-centered attitude, and her love of materia probably goes deeper than a need to help her homeland.
