Tifa Lockhart
Extended Bio: Tifa grew up in Nibelheim, the Mayor's daughter. She was friends with a trio of boys, and though she lived next door to Cloud, the two of them were never close. Tifa's mother died when she was young, and, thinking that maybe people who died went to Mt. Nibel, she started up the path. Her usual trio of friends soon abandoned her, but Cloud continued on with her. Tifa missed her step, and both of them fell, Tifa winding up in a coma for seven days. When Tifa was thirteen, Cloud called Tifa out to the well one night to tell her he was leaving to join SOLDIER. She made him promise to rescue her if she was ever in need of help. After he left town, she began to think about him and began reading the papers in hopes of some news about him. Two years later, Sephiroth, Zack, and Cloud came to Nibelheim, though Cloud never revealed his face to her. She acted as their guide to the reactor, where Sephiroth snapped. After he set fire to the village, Tifa followed him to the reactor, where she found her father dead, the Masamune abandoned nearby. Taking Sephiroth's sword, she tried to attack him, but he rested his sword away and slashed her. Cloud came too late to save her, but he took care of Sephiroth. Zangan, Tifa's martial arts instructor, arrived at the ractor and carried Tifa out on his back just as Shinra troops arrived. He took her to Midgar and left her in the care of a doctor. Some time after she had recovered, Tifa got her bar, Seventh Heaven, and joined up with AVALANCHE. She met Cloud at the Sector 7 train station five years after the Nibelheim incident, and took him in for a while. When he said he was leaving, Tifa told him about the AVALANCHE job so that he would stay a little longer. References in the Script:
