Alias: Red XIII Age: 48 Height: 3'9" Weapon: Headdress Birthplace: Cosmo Canyon Official Bio: Just as his name implies, he is an animal with fire-red fur. But under his fierce exterior is an intelligence surpassing that of any human's. His sharp claws and fangs make him good at close-range fighting, but other than that, not much is known about him. It's not even certain that "Red XIII" is his real name. A real enigma. Extended Bio: The duty of Nanaki's tribe is to protect Cosmo Canyon and its people, and though Nanaki is the last of his tribe, he wants to continue that mission. He lost both of his parents when the Gi tribe attacked the canyon in his childhood. His mother died fighting, and Nanaki has always believed that his father fled the canyon. In reality, Seto alone defended the canyon's secret entrance, but was never able to return. Nanaki's parents asked that Bugenhagen not tell their son. Now an orphan, Nanaki looks up to Bugenhagen, and believes there is nothing his "grandfather" cannot do. Some time prior to the game, Professor Hojo found and captured Nanaki to experiment on him. Nanaki has since developed a deep loathing for the scientist, and his opinion of two-legged things has suffered some as well. Still, he's eager to lend a hand to potential allies, and his sharp mind and claws are significant assets. Despite his serious attitude, Nanaki is young for his kind; those of his tribe live for centuries, and Nanaki is really only the equivalent of a teenager.
