Ifalna

Residence: Snow Village Bio: Ifalna was the last Cetra remaining in the Knowlespole area. She met Professor Gast after he had abandoned the Jenova Project, and agreed to help him with his research on the Cetra. The two eventually fell in love and had a daughter, Aeris. Not three weeks after her birth, however, Professor Hojo found them. Gast was shot for resisting, and Ifalna and Aeris were taken to Hojo's lab. When Aeris was seven, they managed to escape and reach the Sector 7 train station, where Elmyra found them. Ifalna had suffered a fatal injury during the escape, and with her last words, she asked Elmyra to take Aeris someplace safe. Because Ifalna was a Cetra, however, she can still speak to her daughter from the Lifestream.
