Elmyra Gainsborough

Residence: Sector 5, Midgar Bio: During the Wutain War, Elmyra's husband was sent to the front. Eventually she received notice that he was coming home on leave, but he never met her at the station. She kept going back, and one day she found a seven-year-old Aeris and her mother on the steps. Ifalna was dying, so she bid Elmyra to take Aeris someplace safe. Elmyra took Aeris in as her own. Her husband died some years later, leaving the girl as her only family. She is protective of Aeris, and after her daughter's relationship with Zack, she's learned to dislike SOLDIERs.
